We are coming to the Island this weekend to feature our annual dance production called "THE BOLLYWOOD BELLYDANCE TOUR"!   This year we are touring 10 cities around the province, and the Victoria show is always a highlight.  We are having two shows at the Metro Theatre on Saturday at 2pm and 7pm  (http://www.metrostudiotheatre.com/events.html#get_bent)

Also, our Victoria show is a double-feature.  The first half features a Cambodian influenced bellydance troupe from Victoria called "Nath Keo & Sacred Centre Dance".  If you have never seen a "male bellydancer", prepare to be amazed!   Nath Keo is incredibly talented.  The second half features our troupe called "The Get Bent Bollywood Bellydancers".   This is nothing like belly dancing most people have seen.  Our show is "family-friendly", features modern dance music, and it is very upbeat.   Also, 50% of our ticket sales go to our non-profit society that supports performing arts and culture - particularly youth performers.    

If you've ever wanted to learn how to "shake it", both troupes are teaching belly dance workshops this weekend.  For those of you up Island, we are also having a show and workshop in Duncan at the Garage Show Room on March 15.

Tickets for the show are available at the door at the Metro Studio Theatre on Saturday.   However, I highly recommend you buy advanced tickets - they are much cheaper (before Friday).
