Ella Fitzgerald: A simply astounding singer. Song pick - Flying Home.
Lavern Baker: I recently discovered her music, she's got some doozies! Song pick - Jim Dandy.

Benny Goodman: One of the best clarinet players from the era. Song pick - Blue Skies.
Count Basie: Very strong pianist. Song pick - Shiny Stockings or Jumpin' at the Woodside. (I coudn't choose)
Duke Ellington: Another of the great swing pianists. Song pick - Pie Eye's Blues.
Sidney Bechet: One of the originals from New Orleans, great blackstick player! Song pick - Les Oignons.
